Larchville Development Social Housing, Co. Waterford
This project involved refurbishment of 44no. existing housing unit, 2no. Semi-detached and 1no. Detached infill housing units. Existing housing accommodation remained occupied throughout the timeframe of the works.
New units were constructed in ‘live occupied sites’, and refurbishment of occupied units occurred while the occupants remained in residence.
Existing housing units were occupied throughout the course of refurbishment, and housing units adjacent to the new ‘infill units’ were fully occupied throughout the course of construction. This work was essentially carried out in a ‘live campus environment’.
Our role involved the provision of Mechanical, Electrical, Transportation, and Security Services specification & design services – as well as construction co-ordination and monitoring services for development on behalf of Waterford City Council.
