Dungarvan Town Hall / Museum, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford
This project involved the extensive refurbishment of the original Town Hall Theatre (& Waterford County Museum) building (dating from the 19th century).
Matt O’Mahony & Associates Ltd undertook the design & specification of all necessary mechanical, electrical & transportation services for the premises – including provision of services for the specialist Theatre operational systems as well as incorporating the requirements of the Museum facility.
These specialist theatre operational systems included specialist AV systems, lighting services (both stage and house lights), box office systems, intercoms, CCTV, and ‘Back of House’ sound distribution. Facilities panels were also provided as part of the electrical services infrastructure – to serve the requirements of the performance companies using the theatre.
Systems for the Museum facility included security systems and internal artificial lighting simulations. We also developed a comprehensive heating and ventilation system for the premises incorporating low noise air-handling systems for the Theatre.
